Rick was not only a great husband and father. He was everyone’s wish of having one loyal friend like him. No matter how grim or dark you thought your problem might be he brought out that humor that brought out the sunshine and that would put a smile on your face. He will be missed by all his loved ones, but God needed another special angle to keep watch on us all. We couldn’t ask for anyone better. Will miss you buddy.

Rick was a fun loving guy with a great sense of humor who will be missed tremendously. He was a friend to many, a good husband, father, and provided for my sister and their children. My daughter, Tera and I were so blessed to be welcomed into the Van Hise family. We not only got Rick, we gained Debbie, Sue, Steve, Doug and Wayne . Being included into Rick's family brought many large gatherings with tons of happy memories. I am so proud to call you my brother-in-law.
